Prof Shivesh Maharaj
Prof Shivesh Maharaj completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Witwatersrand before continuing his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at Wits and receiving his Fellowship from the Colleges of Medicine and Surgery of South Africa. He also has a Master of Medicine degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. His area of interest is skull base surgery.
Dr Shahpar Motakef
Dr Shahpar Motakef completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Witwatersrand before continuing her specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at Wits and receiving her Fellowship from the Colleges of Medicine and Surgery of South Africa. She is currently the Clinical Head of unit at CMJAH. Her areas of interest include Neuro-Otology and Rhinology.

Dr Mukadi Nkongolo
Dr Mukadi Nkongolo completed a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Kinshasa before continuing his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at Wits and receiving his Fellowship from the Colleges of Medicine and Surgery of South Africa. He is currently Head of unit at HJH. His areas of interest include rhinology and laryngology.

Dr Dipuo Masege
Dr Dipuo Masege qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1990 with an MBBCh degree. He obtained a Diploma in Child Health in 1993. He qualified as an ENT Specialist in 2001 with a Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. His main interests in ENT are Rhinology, Skull base surgery and Otology. He has a keen interest in Ethics , Morality and Health Law and is currently in the final year of an MSc degree in the field. He currently works as a Senior Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery Department at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital.
